Woman, 2 others remanded for abducting mourners in Kwara

A magistrate’s courtroom in Ilorin, Kwara Exclaim, has ordered the remand of three suspected kidnappers in a correctional facility.

The suspects, Bature Seriki, Lawal Jamiu and Fatimoh Anaruwa, allegedly kidnapped one Alfa Biliaminu and 4 of his visitors who had been coming from Lagos for a burial ceremony.

The police urged the courtroom that Biliaminu and 4 of his visitors had been attacked by the suspects and delivered to a thick wooded space at Aboto village in Afon metropolis of Asa LGA.

The prosecutor, Zacchaeus Folorunsho, acknowledged, “The blended effort of the police, vigilantes and hunters resulted within the arrest of the suspects within the bush and other than they did not current devoted narrative of why they had been there.”

The magistrate, Ibrahim Dasuki, ordered their remand and adjourned to August 29.
